CORRECTIONS AND VERSIONING
Diwan: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Arab is committed to maintaining an accurate and transparent scholarly record. When a published article requires correction of a technical, bibliographic, or production error that does not affect the scientific validity, findings, or conclusions of the work, the journal issues a corrected file that replaces the previously published PDF galley under the same DOI and the same article URL, so that existing citations remain valid and unaffected.
The corrected PDF includes a brief, permanent notice on its first page identifying the date of correction and the nature of the change. This notice remains part of the file for as long as the article is available, ensuring that the corrected status of the article is visible to any reader who accesses the file directly, independent of the journal's website.
Corrections under this policy are limited to matters such as identifier errors, incomplete reference metadata, incorrect header information, and comparable production-level issues. Errors affecting the scientific content, findings, or authorship of an article are addressed through a formal erratum or, where warranted, a correction notice published in accordance with COPE guidance, rather than through this mechanism.
When multiple articles across one or more issues require correction for the same underlying cause, the editorial team publishes a consolidated announcement on the journal's Announcements page that describes the scope and reason for the correction, with links to each affected article.
