Abstract

Digital transformation has revolutionized the paradigm of knowledge production and accessibility, including the treasures of Islamic civilization. This study explores the digitization of Islamic knowledge in libraries as a strategic imperative for preserving intellectual heritage while responding to the challenges of globalization. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study analyzes the role of libraries as inclusive and adaptive information centers. The results show that digitizing collections ranging from ancient manuscripts to contemporary literature not only ensures the physical preservation of manuscripts but also expands global accessibility beyond the boundaries of space and time. Furthermore, this initiative contributes significantly to building a global society based on knowledge and oriented towards the sustainability of Islamic culture in the digital era.
