Wikipedia considers librarians to have good skills and resources to support the quality and reliability of articles. During the activity period of January 15 to February 5 and May 15 to June 5 every year, supporters of this program also campaign #1Lib1Ref on social media, especially Twitter (X). The researcher applies the content analysis method to analyze 214 tweets containing the hashtag #1Lib1ReF on Twitter in 2022. The aim of this research is research is to find out and the role of librarians and the utilization of collections for reference service users at the Archives and Libraries Office of West Sumatra Province. This research uses qualitative methods by using observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain primary data, as well as documentation to obtain secondary data. Based on the result, it can be it can be seen that the reference librarian of the West Sumatra Provincial Archives and Libraries Office in meeting the information needs of the library users has played a role in helping users who have difficulty finding the desired collection, besides that the reference librarian also directs the user to find the collection on the shelf and guides the user to search for printed collections by doing it together to find the collection needed. The innovations made by the reference librarian of the West Sumatra Provincial Archives and Libraries Office are such as carrying out user education activities which include direct guidance, which includes collection search guidance, guidance on using OPAC, and information search guidance. This activity can inform the promotion has been carried out, to the extent to which the development and creativity of the promotion carried out as well as techniques and breakthroughs in solving problems faced by the "Padang City Public" library. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collected by interviews, this in itself obtained directly the technicalities and tips from the promotion of the Padang City Public Library. The impact of this study explains that the techniques carried out through the Mobile Library Service by using the Read Aloud method and story telling using the muppet doll tone, book review, Care Free Day, Speech Competition, conducting library development activities both specifically and to vertical institutions. With regard to it promotion through technology. Meanwhile, social media promotion of the Padang City Public Library used includes Face Book, Whatshap, Instgram, Youtube and through the Librarian Working Group through book donations. The success of this promotion has a significant impact on continuing to increase the number of library visits every month. Literacy improvement programs require quite a lot of funds and resources. Games can be a means of increasing reader literacy. This study aims to observe citations and words that are widely used in abstracts and titles of previous research regarding the use of games by librarians. This study uses a quantitative method called bibliometrics to collect and analyze data. Data was taken from the Scopus website as many as 117 from 1981-2023. Data were analyzed using R Studio software. The results show that most of the documents cited were written by authors from European countries and the United States. However, none of this previous research was cited by fellow local authors. This research uses qualitative methods. The subjects in this research were members of the Pekanbaru Lancang Kuning Deaf Community (KUTILANG). Data collection used was interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research are an identification of the various needs of members of the Lancang Kuning Deaf Community and efforts to provide their information needs. It can be seen that the information needs of the Lancang Kuning Deaf Community (KUTILANG) are still not met. The obstacles or difficulties experienced by deaf people result in the formation of the characteristics of the information they need. Static QR Codes, which store fixed information, are contrasted with Dynamic QR Codes that generate new codes each time they are scanned. The research methodology involves implementing both types of QR Codes at strategic locations within the university, with data collection encompassing response times, accuracy, and user satisfaction. The results indicate that Dynamic QR Codes excel in terms of security and accuracy, albeit requiring additional effort in implementation. The conclusion drawn from this research is that Dynamic QR Codes are recommended for employee attendance capture in a university setting, providing positive implications for human resource management in educational institutions. The objectives of mapping qualifications in librarian recruitment in Indonesia: (1) determine the level of librarian qualifications based on education level; (2) reviewing the qualification standards for diploma level librarians in Indonesia; (3) reviewing the qualification standards for librarians at undergraduate education level in Indonesia. This research method was carried out through three strategic stages, namely (1) data collection (2) data analysis; and (presentation of the results of data analysis (reporting). Data collection was carried out using the indexation method through recruitment data for librarians for state and private institutions in Indonesia for the last three years. Research data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitative and qualitative. The research results showed variations in the needs of Library Science graduates between CPNS and CPPPK recruitment, with diploma III level being more dominant in CPPPK, while strata 1 is more dominant in CPNS; in private agencies, job opportunities vary reflecting the complexity of job demands, emphasizing the importance of understanding and mapping qualifications in building a strong foundation for growth, innovation and sustainability in the library sector, providing guidance for prospective students and stakeholders.</p> 2024-01-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023
